Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELMER STRONG On Monday, June 19, 2000, Elmer Strong, aged 79 years, of Stonewall and formerly of Argyle, Man. Born December 10, 1920 at Argyle, Elmer had lived and farmed in the Argyle-Stonewall area most of his life. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Stonewall Branch No. 52 and Argyle Branch No. 222. Surviving to mourn his loss, three sons and one daughter, Barry of Stonewall, Sharon of Winnipeg, Doug and Ken of Stonewall; two brothers and three sisters, Bruce, Ed, Gwen and Verna, all of B.C., Adele of Winnipeg; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Marc Whitehead will officiate. The service will conclude at the chapel, with cremation to follow. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall, in care of the arrangements.
